Last Orders - Lichfield, Sutton and Tamworth CAMRA |
|
|
The C in CAMRA stands for Campaign. CAMRA started life with the basic aim of trying to persuade brewers to re-introduce genuine real ale, and that campaign was its first success. It's fair to say that without CAMRA real ale would have died and we would now all be drinking tasteless fizz. But the fight goes on. CAMRA now represents the interests of those who appreciate decent real ale and decent pubs. CAMRA believes that these are an important part of the British way of life, and an important part of our heritage. CAMRA continues to campaign on issues that affect real ale, real cider, real perry, pubs, and the people who use the latter in order to find the former. These pages highlight CAMRA's current campaigns and in particular how they effect us in Lichfield, Sutton and Tamworth. A more national perspective can be found on the National website. We are always happy to hear comments on the current campaigns. Information for the media is also available.
