6-7 February Lichfield Winter Beer & Wine Festival

Lichfield Guild Hall, Bore Street. Over 35 Real ales, plus traditional ciders. Noon-11pm. Admission before 5.30pm £1, after 5.30pm £2 (Friday), £2.50 (Saturday). See the Lichfield Arts website for more details.

27-28 March Coventry Beer Festival

Coventry Rugby Club Ground, Butts Road, Coventry. 90+ beers, plus ciders. Open 12 noon - 4pm, and 6-11pm. CAMRA members free admission, Non members £2 evenings, £1 lunch times. See Coventry & North Warwickshire Branch website for more details.

Meetings and events are organised throughout the year. Some have a campaigning theme, such as promoting Mild in May, while others are simply social.

Definite information and detailed plans for all events are given out at meetings, in the branch newsletter and in What's Brewing, the monthly newspaper sent out to all CAMRA members.

Whilst the information on this website is probably correct it would be a good idea to confirm arrangements with the Branch Secretary, especially if you're travelling a long way.

Meetings take place in a pub that sells some decent beer (usually, but not always, this will be a Good Beer Guide-listed pub). If you can't find us, ask the landlord. We are always keen to hear from pubs that sell decent beer and are able to offer room for us.

Branch meetings are relatively formal, they follow a set agenda and involve discussions of current campaigns and communication from CAMRA HQ. Details of events are given out. The events may be pub crawls, visits to breweries or far-flung pubs, or sometimes something a little more adventurous. If you're a new member coming along for the first time you will be welcomed at either meetings or events.
